In 2004, Helene stepped out of her comfort zone and became a full-time student to qualify herself as a life coach. She has moved her clients forward so they will discover their unique gifts. They are then able to live with purpose and with clarity.

Helene has been certified as a ”Life Coach", a ‘Life Skills Coach’ and a ‘Parent and Teen Coach’. This Parent and Teen Coach is the first Canadian of 150 graduates worldwide from The Academy for Family Coach Training (formerly named Parent As Coach Academy) in 2007. She has also successfully completed extensive educational programs in life coaching and wellness coaching (www.lifecoachtraining.com) as well as natural nutrition (www.aliveacademy.com).

Who is Helene?

A woman leading a full and purposeful life! Married, mother of four, plus stepmother to two, and now step-grandmother(!!). Helene strives to achieve balance, while tending to the multiple needs of her family. Prior to parenting, Helene worked as a Registered Nurse for over ten years in Intensive Care Units. She ‘retired’ from the profession after the birth of her first child in honour of her values, to raise her family. During the first sixteen years at home, she built a successful home-based business which involved selling, marketing, mentoring and teaching women how to operate their own successful business.

In her free time, Helene is an active volunteer in the community. In her children’s early years, Helene volunteered at their school and served on various committees. Her volunteer efforts now include involvement with the Youth Group her children attend and leading a women’s group at her church. Pursuing one of her passions, Helene and her family head out to Whalley monthly. They are actively involved with NightShift Ministries (www.nightshiftministries.org) – a street ministry where the homeless and poor are served nightly.

Summer sees Helene enjoying swimming while in winter she hits the slopes to ski with her family. Her love of animals explains why she currently cares for 5 pets and at least one hundred fish. Having had the honour of being personally taught by Mary Kay Ash, I gained the utmost respect for this incredible woman. She has had an enormous influence on my values and guiding principles both in raising my family and the development of my business.
